- This site has a series of lynching photographs and postcards. In addition to the pictures there is a movie format with a narrator discussing the images.

- American Slave Narratives - An Online Anthology.
- This site has an anthology of slave narratives taken from the mid-1930's as part of the WPA's program of supporting researchers. This site has links to bibliographies on the subject and to additional Internet sources of slave narratives. These slave narratives are available in a printed format as The American Slave: A Composite Autobiography. This is available in Carrier Library in 41 volumes @ E 444 A45.
