    How do I request equipment?    

Effective 7/23/07 Equipment Loans & Rentals will be located in the Media Resources Ctr. room 16B2.

All checkout and pickups from the media center desk.

Media Resources makes available equipment loans for use either in class or for other academic and campus purposes.

Please note the following qualifications:

• All loan requests should be made at least 24 hours in advance of scheduled need.
  

• Some types of equipment entail pickup and return by the borrower.
  

• Some categories of borrower (primarily campus auxiliary offices) are subject to rental fees. Please note that even when subject to rental fees, equipment availability may vary depending on priority use by academic departments and schools.

Video recording has gone digital at Media Resources Equipment Loans. We now have digital palmcorders to loan for assigned student class projects, faculty curriculum development, and staff use. These cameras also have still picture capabilities with an 8mb multimedia card and have a 3-way PC link. Call 568-6803 or stop by our Spotswood office for availability. Students must acquire a faculty signature on our Student Equipment Loans Request Form available in the following formats:  MS Word (.doc),  Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) or come by our office and pick one up. User must supply digital video tape. Tripod included upon request.
