Welcome to SCOM 280

[click here for audio!] Hey there!   My name is Jody and I am happy to help you with your library research!  I used to have a video with this intro, but there was um, some kind of technical difficulty so this is my quick fix! 

I have a master's degree in library science, and 5 years' experience helping JMU students with their SCOM-related research topics!

Lots of students think librarians work here 'cause we like books, but we actually really love helping students.  So, you should email me for help when you have a question!

The next few videos will show you the library web site, how to find scholarly articles, how to search in library databases, and finally a tool called RefWorks that can help you stay organized.
