Medical / Health Directories:

Many health organizations, whether non-profit, commercial or governmental have their own Internet sites.  Usually, they will include directory-type information, including phone numbers and e-mail addresses.  One of the best CSD sites which gathers together much of this information is the National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders Directory Other medical directories include:

  • DIRLINE:
The National Library of Medicine's  Directory of Health Organizations.
  • NHIC Health Information Resource Database
Directories for toll-free numbers and for federal health information centers and clearinghouse addresses and phone numbers, etc.
