JMU Libraries' New Web 

Returning students and faculty will notice a big change in JMU Libraries web presence.  Over the past year, the Libraries have been developing a plan to update and improve our web pages.  Improvements include: 

• New features on the library catalog, LEO, include periodical title search capacity and viewing your record (items checked out or holds)
• World Cultures Exhibit page
• Updated instrument guides on the Music Library Page and instant messaging ability to the Music Librarian
• A streamlined Internet search page and a web site evaluation guide
• New Government Documents page
• A searchable staff directory 
• Links to the library's strategic planning pages
• This library newsletter

With this redesign, the libraries aimed for a uniform look and for opportunities to apply dynamic technology to ease page maintenance.  We encourage all our users to let us know what you think of the new and enhanced features.   Explore and enjoy!
