Urdu Poetry Readings
Online Exhibit in Celebration of International Week

Listen to Ramesh Sundaram of the United Kingdom read selected poems in the original Urdu.  Follow along with English translations and the original texts. 

Mr. Sundaram has recorded poetry readings for the BBC Asian Network.  He recorded these poems specifically for this JMU Libraries & Educational Technologies online exhibit. The selections are from Master Pieces of Urdu Ghazals from 17th to 20th Century by K.C. Kanda.
