SuDoc Call NumbersFederal documents are not classified by the familiar Library of Congress call numbers. They are classified by Superintendent of Documents numbers which are determined by the agency that produced the document. Therefore, information produced by the Department of Agriculture is found in the A's, Health and Human Services Department in HE and Congressional hearings will be found in the Y4s.
