Searching LEO
.
LEO is easy to use. Most users are able to find what they need by following directions on the screens. You may find the following techniques especially useful:
.
- Advanced Word Search - Search significant keywords in the title, subject headings, contents notes, and author.
-
- Limit function - Restrict your search by material type (e.g. videotape, music recording), date, etc.
- Browse by order on shelf - View a list of related items in call number order as they would appear on the shelf by clicking on a highlighted call number.
- Show similar items - Find items by the same author or on the same subject by clicking on highlighted subject headings or author.

Finding Sources on the Shelf (Stack Guide)
Copy the location and call number of the source and check the stack guide. If the source is checked out, you may place a hold on it. You will be notified when it is returned.
