This guide lists some of the major sources in Carrier Library on military history. It should be
used to not only determine specific titles of research but also as a guide to identify types of
sources that can lead to further research possibilities. Guides and bibliographies are placed at the
beginning since they are always the key type of material useful at all stages of the research
process. See handouts entitled American Civil War and Vietnam for additional military history
sources in Carrier Library.
