Treaty information is available in Carrier Library in a large number of
sources. This guide is intended to steer the researcher through the frequently
bewildering tools that are used to locate treaty information. The sources noted
will allow for advanced work in all geographic areas of the world and is for
both current and historical treaty research. Arrangement is by type of material
with the treaty texts divided into United States, American Indian, and
international sections. Because of the type of material being researched the
student may want to have an awareness of the Style Manual and Abbreviations
sections.
