Who is my Liaison Librarian?

A Liaison Librarian is assigned to each academic department to ensure that library services and collections meet the needs of the students and faculty.  Typical activities of the liaisons include:

  • providing customized instruction to classes
  • creating subject guides
  • helping users with indepth reference questions
  • developing the collection to support the curriculum
  • keeping the academic department informed about JMU Libraries
