Why does the preview icon (magnifying glass) appear on some of my Quick Search search results but not on others?

The preview icon is only available on EBSCO databases.  It is not available for non-EBSCO external vendors' databases.  This may include sources such as JSTOR, Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center, Scopus, and Sage eReference.  (8/05/2010)
