Does the library subscribe to plagiarism detection software?

There is a program that runs along with Blackboard called SafeAssign that can be used to identify text that has been published elsewhere.  Faculty looking for information on using this tool should contact the Center for Instructional Technology for training.  The libraries offer a comprehensive information literacy program aimed at educating students about plagiarism and academic integrity.  For more information about the information literacy program, click here: http://www.lib.jmu.edu/instruction/default.aspx.   Contact your liaison librarian to request a class.
