What is Check for Full Text @ JMU?

Check for Full Text@JMU is a system which attempts to provide a connection from citations/abstracts of journal articles and publications in research databases to the full text of the article or publication in an electronic resource for which JMU Libraries has a subscription.

When you click on a Check for Full Text @ JMU button, the system will attempt to connect you right to a full text article or publication, if it can find a match. You’ll know it worked when you see the Gold Bar at the top.

This bar contains a link to the Check for Full Text @ JMU menu page, which may offer different options for full-text or additional help if needed. Due to some differences between various publishers’ sites, you may still have to locate a link to the full text from the publisher’s site. [more info]

If the system can’t find an article-level match, Check for Full Text @ JMU will take you to a menu page with additional options and ways to get help.

For more information, see "How do I find the full text of a specific article if I already have a citation?"
