Shenandoah Valley Oral History Project took 2nd Place.

 Tracy Harter, Greg Brown, Grover Saunders, and Mark Purington of Carrier Library,  took second place in the Mid-Atlantic Archives Conference 2009 competition for their finding aid, A Guide to the Shenandoah Valley Oral History Project, 2005-2006.  The Finding Aid Award is given yearly to recognize outstanding achievement in the preparation of finding aids, electronic or paper, by institutions within the MARAC region (NY, NJ, MD,PA, DE, DC, VA, WV).  Competition was stiff!  First place went to the Archives of American Art at the Smithsonian Institution for the Oscar Bluemner Papers.
