Valley and Madison College Collections now available

 Four new manuscript collections have been processed and added to Special Collections this Spring.  The Dorothy Lee Baugher Papers, 1936-2003, consist of newspaper clippings, poetry, fiction and non-fiction writings, and drawings produced by Dorothy Baugher, a 1939 graduate of Madison College.  The collection also includes miscellaneous materials including correspondence, receipts, programs, and notes. The John H. Grabill Collection, 1817-1981, contains a variety of items including business documents, personal correspondence, and ephemera relating to John H. Grabill, the Grabill family of Shenandoah County, and the Shenandoah Herald.  Grabill was owner and editor of the Herald from 1868-1922.  The Audrey Hatcher Vaughan Papers, 1942-1944, consist of three folders of school related materials, correspondence from WWII soldiers and fellow schoolmates, and miscellaneous materials pertaining to the donor's time at Madison College.  The Fulks Run Ruritan Club Records, 1958-2008, consists of meeting minutes, rosters, community service reports, treasurer notes, receipts, correspondence, and handbooks documenting this Fulks Run, VA. organization.   Click on the links to individual finding aids for complete details and inventory lists.
