CheckCite helps you cite your sources in papers, speeches and PowerPoint presentations. Citing sources correctly is important for getting a good grade, giving credit to others, and even getting published.  The different rules, though, can be confusing. CheckCite was developed by JMU Libraries with assistance from General Education faculty.

Use CheckCite to get samples and tips for the most common citations in APA, MLA and Turabian styles. You'll find help if you are citing books, articles, websites, images, media or a person.  And, you'll find examples for papers as well as speeches.
