Libraries and Educational Technologies supports faculty, staff and student educational activities via the site-licensing of software applications that may benefit most academic disciplines. Terms of urs site licenses varywith the application. Most can be found in COmputing Labs and tech Classrooms, or can be requested for installation where not availabl. ICPSR
Purpose:
Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research - ICPSR provides leadership and training in data access, curation, and methods of analysis for a diverse and expanding social science research community. Approximately 700 universities, government agencies, and other institutions are members of ICPSR. Faculty, staff, and students of member institutions have full direct access to the data archive and to all of ICPSR's services.

Purpose:
Maple is a technical computing software for engineers, mathematicians, and scientists, that allows a user to perform quick calculations, develop design sheets, teach fundamental concepts, or produce sophisticated high-fidelity simulation models.

Synthesis
Purpose:
Synthesis is a general presentation support software that includes opinion polling capabilities, title slides, and demographic comparisons. Synthesis focuses on learning, allowing you to specify correct answers, assign points to questions as a weighting factor, put people into teams, show team standings, show individual standings and produce a multitude of reports.
