Tip 1: If you already know the title of what you're looking for...

Use LEO's Title Search
If you don't know the exact title, use LEO's Advanced Word Search. Then:

Enter your key words under Any Word.
Under Limit Your Results by Type of Material, select: music recording, spoken recording, or video/film. (This search will work for most common media program formats: CDs, DVDs, videotapes.)

Tip 3: Find foreign language films and audio recordings...

First. do a search on Subject, Word or "feature films" from Special LEO Lists (scroll box located on left side while in LEO).
Then, choose Limit Search
Tip 4: Find closed captioned video programs...

Do a Subject Search for: "video recordings for the hearing impaired".
Tip 5: Find media formats other than video and audio...

Do a Call Numbers/Local Call Number Search for one of the local call #s listed under the FAQ tip How do I browse the videos, music or other media added to the collection most recently?
Do a Quick Search on Media Resources home page. Choose your media format: computer software or audiovisual media (for older formats).
