MLA's 73rd Annual Meeting will be held 11-15 February 2004 at the Crystal Gateway Marriott Hotel in Arlington, Virginia.  The program and local arrangements take advantage of the rich resources of the Washington DC area, with plenary sessions on Music at the Library of Congress and Lobbying, and a local arrangements concert at LC's Coolidge Auditorium.  The Education Committee is offering a workshop, "Library of Congress Subject Headings for Music Librarians," both pre- and post-conference.  A Town Meeting on strategic financial planning continues the open discussions that began with Plan 2001.  The remainder of the conference includes the usual fascinating mix of program sessions and committee and roundtable meetings.

This ever-changing web site is a supplement for information about the meeting. Look for detailed information about events, speakers, exhibitions, and accommodations and any last minute developments.
