Quick Search aims to provide access to top library resources. It includes books, videos, and music recordings from LEO Library Catalog, both print and online. It includes journal titles from Periodical Locator. It also searches articles from EBSCO's Academic Search Complete. Finally, if it detects an appropriate Research Database, it displays a link to that database.
Quick Search provides links to the first 2 results in each category, then provides links to the entire results set for each type of item.

A: Quick Search provides results from an article database and our journal title locator as well as books, videos, and music. It is designed to provide a few results in each category so users can choose their next steps.
Q: Can I use Boolean operators in Quick Search?
A: If you enter Boolean operators such as AND, OR, and NOT, they will be used only for Article searches and LEO Library Catalog searches on Books, Videos, and Music. They will not be used in the journal search, since it does not accept Boolean operators.
