CLCD provides a single source for information about PreK to Grade 12 books and media. The bibliographic record; reviews; awards, honors and prizes; best book lists, reading measurement programs; book jacket images; and author/illustrator web references and features are all accessible with one search. The CLCD contains more than one million records and over 230,000 reviews from 33 sources. This database now offers teaching tools-- lesson plans and teaching guides on children's books, authors and illustrators from a variety of sources. Extensive search options, including genre, age, grade level, series, and awards, mean book lists for a variety of purposes may be easily created.
