Description:Citations and some full text to international periodicals, books, and book chapters on religion and theological studies. Areas covered include Biblical studies, world religions, Church history, and religious perspectives on social issues. Includes a full range of index citations to journal articles, essays in multi-author works, and book reviews from Religion Index One (RIO), Religion Index Two (RIT), and Index to Book Reviews in Religion (IBRR). Covers the research literature of religion in 35 languages, from more than 1,633 journals, 518 of which are still currently being indexed. Most coverage spans from 1949 to the present while retrospective indexing is underway taking indexing of select titles whose publication pre-dates 1949 back to their original publication date.  Users may also browse books of the Bible in canonical order and drill down to the chapter, and then verse to find related indexed records. This database is produced by the American Theological Library Association.
