Contemporary World Music is a vast collection of 50,000 music tracks. Listen to reggae, worldbeat, neo-traditional, world fusion, Balkanic jazz, African film, Bollywood, Arab swing, and much more! The recordings come from renowned labels such as: Topic, Playasound, Crossing Records, and Navras Records just to name a few. This database is compatible with both PCs and Macs and there is no special software to download. The albums' original liner notes are included with each record and are searchable.
You are now able to send tracks to your iPhone or Droid! Just click on the cell phone icon beside the track to view sending options. Tracks will be playable for 48 hours from off campus, but after 48 hours you must be connected to the JMU wireless network to play your tracks. For more information, click here.
