The Digital Atlas of Roman and Midieval Civilization profices Geographic Information Systems (GIS) mapping and spatial analysis of the Roman and medieval worlds.  Also allows generation of original maps that illustrate the different aspects of ancient and medieval civilization.  Constructed primarily at Harvard by a team of students, scholars, and a professor.
