High School Tour Policy

The library instruction program at JMU is predicated on a working understanding of the curriculum and learning objectives for the course work. Liaison librarians work with faculty and students in the disciplines to give them the resources and skills they need to complete their course work. Because of this essential connection between the students, their assignments, and the liaisons, we can’t offer instruction for high school classes. High school teachers are welcome to bring their own classes to the library, but we are not able to reserve spaces or computers for them to use while they are here.
