How do I find an item on course reserve?

Begin by visiting the Course Reserves search page.  Enter your professor’s last name or course number to see if there are materials on reserve for your courses.

Once you’ve found your course, you’ll see lots of information about the materials your professor has on reserve for you.  Pay special attention to the Loan Period and Call # columns:
  • The loan period tells you whether an item can be checked out for 2 hours, 2 days, or 7 days.
  • The call # column lists the library that the item is located in and whether it is currently available for checkout.
You’ll also note that some items have a “Digital Material” loan period and “Internet” call #.  These are items such as e-books and online videos.  Click on the title and find the link in the catalog record to view the material.
