Radical Roots Community Farm is a five-acre farm in Keezletown, Virginia, that grows organic vegetables and educates about permaculture and sustainable agriculture. It was founded by Dave and Lee O'Neill in 2000. Radical Roots Community Farm started a farm-share CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program in 2005.
The Friendly City Food Co-op is a consumer-owned grocery store cooperative in Harrisonburg that sources produce from local vendors. It opened on June 6, 2011. Friendly City Food Co-op serves as a pick-up point for several local farms that offer CSA shares, including Radical Roots Farm.
