Learn Tools for Teaching with Our New “Play Time” Series

Posted September 21, 2021 in Educational Technology News, Instructional Design News, JMU Libraries News

This semester, we’re introducing a new series to give you a chance to try out a new teaching tool each week. Join us for a casual discussion and time to tinker with digital tools that can be used in any discipline to engage students in analysis, creativity, and other aspects of Bloom’s Taxonomy for Digital Learning. We will focus on one tool per week in hopes that you leave with the confidence to start using it in your in-person, hybrid, or online course.

Engaging Students with iClickers will be our first session. iClicker is an app that facilitates real-time student responses and other active learning options.

Sign up for Engaging Students with iClickers: Thursday Play Time, on September 23 from 4 to 5pm.
