GoReact at JMU

Overview

GoReact is video feedback software available in Canvas. GoReact allows faculty or students to comment on presentations as Canvas assignments with grading options. Presentations can be recorded through GoReact via Canvas, uploaded from the desktop, or uploaded via YouTube or Zoom.

GoReact offers a robust suite of tools for giving feedback and different ways of interacting with students through video. GoReact offers group presentations, peer reviews, rubric grading, and more. These tools streamline the feedback process and provide more ways to review a student’s submission. Using GoReact, you can offer detailed, time-stamped feedback or critiques on videos that your students have created. You can also have peers provide similar feedback, allowing students to improve their skills and performance by giving and incorporating constructive feedback.

No matter what discipline you teach in, this tool could be helpful, especially with its user-friendly interface and robust analytics.
