Artificial Intelligence Workshops in Fall 2025

Join a workshop to explore the complex and ever-changing world of artificial intelligence (AI). Open to all faculty, students, and staff, our AI workshops are offered with support from JMU IT, which recently published an “AI at JMU” overview page, describing our campus approach to AI.
Choose one or more of our workshops, held in a hybrid format in Rose Library or on Zoom:
- Getting Started with AI, Tuesday 9/16, 2-3:30 p.m.
- AI Tools at JMU: Hands-On Workshop, Thursday 9/18, 2-3:30 p.m.
- Getting Started with AI, Monday 10/6, 10-11:30 a.m.
- AI Tools at JMU: Hands-On Workshop, Wednesday 10/8, 10-11:30 a.m.
Other JMU-specific AI resources: JMU provides an Artificial Intelligence at JMU website. JMU Libraries offers a variety of ways to learn more about AI, critically interrogate it, and use it appropriately in a variety of work tasks.
