Research, publishing, and skill development tools for grad students:

  • Get expert advice on copyright for as you teach, write, and publish.
  • Level up your skills in technology, software, leadership, business, communication, and other areas, with LinkedIn Learning.
  • Find other online tools and information in our Research Guides, organized by subject.

Library resources & services:

  • Meet your librarian: JMU librarians specialize in specific research strategies and resources for each graduate program at JMU. Your librarian can help you find, evaluate, and use information for your research and assignments. Contact your librarian via email, or make an appointment with them.
  • Learn about Interlibrary Loan (ILL): If we do not have a book, journal article, or book chapter that you need, you can request a copy from ILL.

Support for using technologies for learning and creativity:

  • Tinker, craft, invent and discover: Visit our makerspaces with 3D printing, VR equipment, sewing machines, and more
