Congratulations to the five JMU faculty members who were recently awarded JMU Libraries’ summer stipends for transitioning to open educational resources (OER)!

The Summer Stipend for Transitioning to OER

• JMU Libraries’ Summer Stipend for Transitioning to OER provides funding for JMU faculty to redesign courses and assignments when transitioning to an open textbook or other open educational resources (OER).

• The awardees will teach their redesigned courses, listed above, in the 2026-2027 academic year.
• We will announce the next call for proposals in February 2027.
