Beyond Binary (Book Display)

Visit Beyond Binary, a new book and resource display, in Rose Library or online! This display features a variety of books and movies that center transgender and gender expansive voices and narratives. These graphic novels, essays, memoirs, and more can be both mirrors and windows into lived experiences similar to or different from your own.

You can view all display items online, request some to pick up or have delivered, or browse and check out some of them in Rose Library in April, May, and June 2023.

This book display was created in partnership with Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, and Expression (SOGIE). SOGIE offers many more resources, including an LGBTQ+ Inclusion Guide for Faculty and Staff, the Lavender Lounge with a resource library, a Trans @ JMU Guide, and more.
