Changes to Special Collections Starting in May

Starting on May 4, JMU Special Collections will begin moving to Carrier Library.

Reading Room closure: The temporary space in Burruss Hall will close on May 4. Look for updates soon about its new location in Carrier, opening in August!
Special Collections Research pause: Special Collections Remote Research Support will pause on May 4 and resume June 22. You may send a voicemail or email; staff will respond starting June 22.
Special Collections Instruction pause: Special Collections Class Visits and Instruction sessions will pause on May 4 and resume August 26. Requests for Fall sessions may be submitted at any time; staff will respond as soon as possible.
