Join us on Thursday, November 7 at 6pm in Memorial Hall to learn from and experience artistic expression related to Día de los Muertos and other Latinx cultural commemorations of loved ones.

Crafting Local Commemorations: Honoring Día de los Muertos in Shenandoah Valley is intended to bring together students, faculty, staff, and local community members to learn across generations and identities. Artists, performers, cultural organizers, and educators will offer multiple opportunities for participants at this event to experience cultural practices and collaborate with our community while reflecting on their own cultural celebrations of their ancestors.
