Whether you’re the one giving it or receiving it, communication in a health setting is always necessary – and sometimes not as easy as you may think. For those simply visiting a doctor or other healthcare professional, it may be hard to understand what you are being told or asked to do. For healthcare professionals, conveying complicated information to a wide range of patients from varying cultural backgrounds is a skill.
