Improvements to Library Search

We’ve been working hard to update Library Search, the primary tool for finding books, ebooks, articles, journals, videos, digital media, and more from JMU Libraries.

Where can I find Library Search? The main entry point to Library Search is near the top of the home page of the JMU Libraries website, pictured above.

What does Library Search do? Library Search combines the JMU Library Catalog with numerous other databases and journal collections, allowing you to use a single search box to find nearly everything we offer! Learn more about what is included when you use Library Search.

What recent changes can I expect to see? The next time you use Library Search and enter the “Search Results” screen, you may notice that the menu at the top has been updated to provide easier navigation. We have also improved the digital accessibility of Library Search. Additionally, a quick link to our helpful “Ask Us” service is now located in the lower-right area of each page of Library Search.
