Inaugural AI Institute for JMU Faculty: Call for Presenters
Posted March 9, 2026 in JMU Libraries News
JMU Libraries, the Center for Faculty Innovation, and the Office of the Provost are partnering to host an inaugural AI Institute for JMU faculty on June 2-4. Learn more in the March 8 CFI Newsletter.
Over this three-day institute, we hope to provide a space where colleagues can discuss and engage the impact of AI on higher education, as well as within our classes and our roles as educators.
Call for presenters: The institute seeks faculty who have considered the responsible and appropriate use of AI on student learning and pedagogical design to consider presenting. If you’re interested, please complete this survey by March 20. The Provost’s office will provide stipends to speakers.
Questions: For questions about this call or the AI institute please contact Yasmeen Shorish.
