Library Futures Classroom

Where Teaching, Space, and Technology Meet

The Library Futures Classroom is a flexible, library-based classroom where faculty and students experiment with how learning happens. Located on the 2nd floor of Carrier Library, the Futures Classroom supports learning by connecting students directly to library services, makerspaces, and digital resources.

What is the Futures Classroom?

The Library Futures Classroom is a living laboratory where faculty, students, and libraries explore how space, pedagogy, and technology shape learning.

The Futures Classroom space invites experimentation in teaching and learning with new technologies and classroom space design. This is an incubator for examining how classrooms can be used in the future, by both faculty and students.
