Check out these free workshops offered by The Makery, located in the basement of Carrier Library and the first floor of Rose Library. Our knowledgeable and helpful staff are here to help you with academic and personal projects to foster your creativity!

Editing Audio with Audacity

This virtual workshop will introduce you to Audacity, a free and open-source tool that can help you record and edit audio for podcasts, interviews, oral histories, music, and more.

Mixed Media Painting

Studies have shown that exposure to even small amounts of art and creativity can reduce stress and anxiety. Join this in-person workshop for a relaxing hour of creating mixed media art using acrylic paints and household items. All supplies provided!

Sewing 101

Learn to use our sewing machines and walk through a simple sewing project. This in-person workshop is excellent for folks new to sewing or looking for a refresher. All supplies provided.
