Request a Purchase for the Libraries

We welcome suggestions from our patrons for new books, videos, music scores, and more.

Purchasing decisions for our collections are guided by the JMU Libraries Collection Management Policy.

How to Request a Purchase

Please use one of the options below to make a suggestion for items to purchase:

• Contact a Liaison Librarian: Directly contact a librarian to request new books, videos, and more and ask questions about requesting purchases.
• Contact the Music Library: School of Music faculty and staff only may use this form to request scores, recordings, videos, books, and more. School of Music Faculty should contact Karen Snively (snivelkl@jmu.edu) to request access if they encounter a SharePoint permission error when attempting to use this form.
