Posted on: November 6, 2015

Katrina Exhibit

Ten years after Hurricane Katrina, the New Orleans region is still recovering and JMU Alternative Break volunteers continue to lend their support. This book display celebrates the community and volunteer efforts to recover the region, and examines different environmental, social, and political factors that led to Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath. Visit the displays in both Rose and Carrier Libraries, with different books to browse and check out, between November 9, 2015 and January 11, 2016.
