Ask the Library Chat Assistant (Format Option 1: creative description)
If you like to work behind the scenes, this is the job for you! You’ll get to know everything the Libraries has to offer by answering questions from students, staff, and community members on our live chat. Don’t worry, you don’t have to know everything about the Libraries before you start. We’ve got great training and documentation to help you point users in the right direction, and you’ll be working on a team with others who can help. This position is 7-10 hours per week with a flexible schedule.

Front Desk Student Assistant (Format Option 2: description plus details like location and hours)
If you love talking to people (and the smell of Starbucks!), join our team of 35-50 students who run our Ask the Library desks in Rose Library, Carrier, and the Music Library! You’ll help to answer questions, check out books, and point people in the right direction. You never know what kinds of interesting questions you’ll get at the front desk! Get a front row seat to one of the most popular hangout spots on campus and get some homework done on quiet days. Open positions are usually posted on Joblink in March and start in the fall.
