Invitation to “Unpacking The Caring University” Keynote and Book Club

As part of CFI’s Faculty Well-Being Weeks, the Libraries is co-sponsoring a keynote by Kevin McClure, author of The Caring University: Reimagining the Higher Education Workplace After the Great Resignation (e-book version available through JMU Libraries).  

The virtual keynote is scheduled for Monday, April 13, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. The first hour will be an open talk for all faculty and staff; the second hour will be a focused conversation just for administrators.  

Faculty and staff are also invited to a “read it or not” virtual book club on Wednesday, April 8, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. for community-building conversation about what a caring university is like.
