Top Tips for Using JMU Libraries This Fall

Even though Carrier Library is closed until Fall 2026 for renovation and expansion, you still have access to all the usual library services in four locations and online!
Here are our top 4 tips for how to use JMU Libraries in Fall 2025:
- Pickup service: You can request books and other library materials for pickup at any library desk. This includes books in storage during construction and books from Interlibrary Loan!
- Mailbox delivery: Faculty, staff, and doctoral students may receive books and media directly in an on-campus mailbox.
- Email delivery: Get scanned chapters of books or journal articles with our Scan & Deliver service.
- Multimedia equipment: Visit Rose Library’s Learning Innovations & Design Desk to check out or return equipment such as cameras, microphones, and other multimedia and computing accessories.
