Posted on: September 19, 2018

Yasmeen Shorish, Data Service Coordinator, and Liz Thompson, Instruction and Educational Resources Coordinator, received an $89,333 Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) Grant. In collaboration with the Association of Research Libraries, they will convene a series of national forums to explore Open Access (OA) collection development and collective funding for OA content in libraries. The insights and interactions of forum participants will culminate in a white paper describing the challenges, opportunities, and potential for inspiring a culture of collective action and building an OA collection development system.

This project is funded by the Institute of Museum and Library Services. Visit the website for details about the grant and to register to participate in a national forum.
