In November 2016 James Madison University created a video as part of a nationwide campaign to let international students know that they are welcome on our campus. Around the same time JMU Libraries and Educational Technologies (LET) publicly affirmed our commitment to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all in our community. This March after JMU placed a call for campus to create their own videos to share on social media, people and departments across LET came together to tell international students, and all students, that they are welcome in the libraries.
