OneDrive in Canvas offers storage space for documents. You can store, share, and sync your work files. You can update and share your files from any device. You can even simultaneously edit Office documents.

How do I get started using OneDrive in Canvas?
Faculty & Staff
- Log into https://office.com using your full JMU email address (eID@jmu.edu)
- Select the app launcher grid in the upper left and choose OneDrive for Business
- Navigate to your Canvas course
- Click on Settings in the bottom-left of your Course Navigation Menu
- Click on Navigation in the Settings tabs at the top
- Click on the three dots to the right of OneDrive in the bottom area and click on Enable
- Click on Save at the bottom
Students
- Log into https://dukes.jmu.edu using your full Dukes email address (eID@dukes.jmu.edu)
- Click the app launcher grid in the upper left and choose OneDrive for Business
- Navigate to your Canvas course
- Click on OneDrive in the Course Navigation Menu
