Music Library Collections

We offer over 100,000 reference sources, scores, serials, books, and sound recordings for classical, jazz, folk, punk, rock, metal, rap, and more.  We also offer equipment loans.

• Music CDs and scores are housed in the Music Library.
• We have two LP collections that are housed in off-campus storage and can be requested for check out within the JMU library catalog.
• Many books about music and other material are housed in other library locations. Materials can be requested for check out within the JMU library catalog.
• Special collections of local material are available in the Music Library and online.
• Users have access to millions of tracks of online audio, video, and musical scores.
